The Growing Us
One minute you’re googling “best stroller,” and the next you’re wondering how a human so tiny can make you feel so much (and survive on so little sleep). “Growing Us” sessions capture all of it: the soft bumps, the First 48 glow, the newborn snuggles, and every milestone that happens at lightning speed.

The All of Us
This is the chapter where everyone is living their own busy, beautifully chaotic lives — kids in school, teens at weekend tournaments, grandparents flying in for the holidays, cousins you only see once a year, and precious weekends that somehow disappear faster than they arrive. “All of Us” sessions are for the rare moments when everyone is actually in the same place at the same time. Whether it’s your immediate crew or the whole extended family, these photos become the kind of gifts moms cry over and grandparents proudly display for years.

Yes! I offer quick, low-pressure consultations so we can talk through your vision, your stage of life, your worries (totally normal), and what you’re hoping this session becomes. It’s also a great time to ask questions, make sure we vibe, and confirm that my style is exactly what you’re looking for. This is a friendly chat, not a sales pitch.

Totally normal — honestly, most people don’t. Part of my job is helping you figure out what you’re drawn to (and what you absolutely are not).
When you’re unsure, I love to co-create a Pinterest board together. It helps us weed out the styles you don’t like, highlight the ones you do, and build a clear visual direction for your session.
You don’t need a perfect plan — just a few feelings, colors, or moments you love, and I’ll help shape the rest into something beautiful and uniquely yours.

Clothing can make or break your photos, so here’s the honest truth: simple, neutral, and textured always photographs best.
Please avoid extreme colors (bright red, neon anything, hot pink), loud patterns, big logos, or anything that competes with your faces — they pull focus and date your images fast.
Think soft tones, warm neutrals, denim, knits, linen, flowy fabrics, and pieces you can move and cuddle in without thinking twice.
Once you book, I’ll send over a detailed style guide (with examples + Pinterest ideas) so you know exactly what works beautifully on camera — and what to skip.
The goal: outfits that complement your family, not distract from it.

It depends on the stage of “us” you’re in — proposals, engagements, maternity, newborn, milestones, or family sessions all have different location sweet spots. Charlotte has so many beautiful outdoor spots, but in-home sessions (especially for newborns and early milestones) are some of my favorites because they feel real, relaxed, and personal.
I don’t have a studio yet, but we can rent one for a clean, minimal look if that’s your style (studio fees apply).
We’ll talk through all the options during your consultation and choose a location that fits your session, your family, and the feeling you want your photos to have

If it rains, storms, or the humidity could practically wilt a houseplant, we’ll reschedule to the next available date. I keep weather days open for this exact reason.
